This book sends a powerful message and I for one felt just about every emotion that most of the characters expressed. It reminded me how cruel and unfair life and people can be. At the same time, it was a wonderful reminder that there are good people in the world; so we must stay positive and treat others with kindness, respect and as we would like to be treated. As an American, I appreciated reading about and even learning some of the language of a different culture. I am looking forward to reading the rest of Jen's story in Path of Jen: Reborn Book 2. She's a fabulous character and I'm rooting for her!Product details

Great read. I devoured it) waiting for the second one was agony! It's been awhile since I enjoyed a book this much. It gets under your skin in the best way.
The main character passes the test for me. I have to believe in and love or hate them for the story to be good. I like Jen. At first she is a self-centered naive teenager, but then she is forced to meet very dangerous circumstances and she becomes a survivor. When she is in over her head, she shows intelligence, strength and determination.
Wow! This book is as timely as it is enthralling! From the first page you will be swept on a fast-paced journey that will keep you guessing and entertained throughout the entire emotional and heart-pounding story. Just the perfect amount of description and world building that pulls you right into each new setting and circumstance but that always keeps the pace marching swiftly from one action packed scene to the next. Author Sidney Wood has such a unique knowledge of the US military, the Middle East, Islam, and current geopolitics to make this series not only riveting but a real stand out!
